Jay Easy Moving Service provides professional moving, packing, loading, unloading, and/or storage services to residential and commercial clients. By hiring or using our Services, you agree to be bound by the terms set forth herein.
2. Limitation of Liability
The Company will exercise reasonable care in handling your property. However, the Company shall not be liable for any damage or loss to items not packed, sealed, or handled by our staff; any items of extraordinary value not disclosed in writing prior to the move; or damage resulting from pre-existing conditions, normal wear and tear, or acts beyond our control (e.g., weather, traffic delays, accidents, etc.).
3. Excluded Items
The Company reserves the right to refuse transport of hazardous materials, perishable goods, firearms, ammunition, illegal items, or valuables including but not limited to cash, jewelry, or important documents. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure such items are removed prior to the move.
4. Damages and Claims
All damage claims must be reported in writing within 2 days of service completion. Claims must include photos and a description of the damage. The Company’s liability for damaged items shall be limited to $1500, unless additional coverage is purchased in advance.
5. Delays
The Company is not responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to weather, traffic, mechanical breakdowns, or scheduling delays caused by prior customers.
6. Cancellations and Rescheduling
Cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 24 hours/1 days in advance. Late cancellations may be subject to a fee of 35% of service fee booked.
7. Payment Terms
Full payment is due upon completion of services, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Unpaid balances are subject to late fees, interest, and collection costs.
8. Binding Agreement
By accepting our Services, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of this disclaimer and any applicable service agreement or estimate provided.
